Where this actually gets solved.
If the problem is getting and keeping an erection, the highest yield intervention is a prescription from a licensed clinician, not a supplement. We score the clinics that provide one on eight criteria, publish the reasoning, and take a commission when you use our links. Nobody pays for a ranking.
The scorecard
Four clinics, scored on the same eight axes.
Scored from published formulary, terms, support policy and clinical intake process, reviewed November 2026. Prices move weekly, so we do not print them here. Check the price at the link.
| Clinic | Model | Generics | Formats | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hims | Async intake, clinician review, broad catalogue | Yes | Tablet, chewable, topical | The widest single menu, including hair and mental health in one account |
| Ro | Async plus video, strong pharmacy routing | Yes | Tablet, chewable | Buying generic and keeping the price down, with a clinician conversation available |
| BlueChew | Async, narrow focus on sexual health | Yes | Chewable only | Anyone who will not take a tablet. Chewables are the whole product. |
| Rex MD | Async, fast turnaround, price forward | Yes | Tablet, chewable | Speed and a low monthly number, with fewer adjacent categories |
The rubric
What the eight criteria are.
No clinic wins on all eight. The point of publishing the rubric is that you can weight the ones that matter to you, instead of trusting a single star rating we made up.
Licensed clinician review
A real prescriber in your state, with a mechanism to ask a follow up question. Async is fine. A questionnaire with no clinician behind it is not.
Generic availability
Sildenafil and tadalafil are off patent. A clinic that only offers a branded chewable is charging you for convenience and nothing else.
Format range
Tablet, chewable, or topical. Format is compliance, not preference: some men will not take a pill in front of anyone.
Price transparency
The monthly number visible before the intake, including the consult fee, with no separate pharmacy surprise.
Cancellation
Cancellable online, without a phone call or a retention script. We check the published policy, not the marketing promise.
Discretion
Unbranded packaging and a neutral billing descriptor. This is a hard requirement for most of our readers, not a nice to have.
Follow up care
What happens at month two, at a side effect, and at a price change. A clinic that disappears after the first order is a checkout, not a provider.
Red flag handling
Erectile change can be the first sign of cardiovascular disease. A clinic that does not route you to a doctor when the intake warrants it fails.
Before you buy anything
Three reasons not to order from a clinic.
Nitrates for angina. Recent stroke or heart attack. Uncontrolled blood pressure. If any of those apply, PDE5 inhibitors can be dangerous and a website will not tell you that loudly enough.
Also worth saying plainly: a sudden inability to get or keep an erection can be a vascular warning sign. Treat it as information about your arteries, not just your sex life, and get it looked at in person.
A prescription is not the embarrassing option. It is the one with evidence.
